We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented RN for the role of Nurse Manager who can conduct in-home care consultations, perform quality assurance visits and act as an expert advisor to our clients and CAREGivers on medical services and other delegated specialized services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as needed following the consultative sales process
  • Meet with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions in the form of a care plan
  • Work with other team members to coordinate various aspects of a client’s care
  • Meet with clients and family members to update care plans to best support the ongoing needs of clients through a structured quality assurance program for clients receiving specialized services
  • Work with clients and their families to resolve any issues that may arise, and to ensure they are receiving the services needed
  • Initiate and manage medication administration and/or nursing delegated specialized services to clients
  • Conduct training with individual CAREGivers who are serving clients receiving specialized services
  • Be available every third weekend to perform on-call duties as required. Using your nursing and supervisory background you may be called upon to respond to situations requiring escalation from junior office staff, to conduct care assessments with potential clients, to facilitate introductions or to assist with other time-sensitive occurrences outside of business hours

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and eligible for registration in Nova Scotia
  • Strong sense of discretion and independent judgement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative and computer skills
  • Competitive spirit, capable of working independently
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Self- motivated with excellent prioritizing and time management skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence and problem solve
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle and clean driving record
  • The flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment where work outside of office hours can be required

Compensation commensurate with experience and education. Medical and dental benefits available with employer contributions.
